Naitri Jadeja belongs to the two very different worlds of Palo Alto, California and Ahmedabad, India. After spending much of her school life in the heart of the Silicon Valley, she is currently finishing her last year of schooling from Mahatma Gandhi International School, Ahmedabad. She founded the MGIS student-run school newspaper program and is teaching journalism to 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Her hobbies include music and creative writing, for which she maintains a blog: naitri.blogspot.com.
She is fervently interested in architecture and urban design, which she hopes to pursue in college. Her dream would be to create sustainable housing out of recycled materials in order to alleviate the problem of slums around the world.
As someone who has been influenced by TED since she was twelve years old, Naitri is delighted to be able to bring a piece of this revolutionary conference to Ahmedabad, India in the form of TEDxAhmedabad.
Manan Vyas is currently a class 12 Commerce student studying in Delhi Public School, Ahmedabad. He has a deep interest in Economics and writes regularly for his website mananvyas.com.
He is currently focusing on International finance and politics with extensive research on the American Origin of the Global Financial crisis and focus on the European Sovereign Debt Crisis. He also studies International Foreign Policy and takes a keen interest in the multilateral diplomatic relations of the United States of America .He is the class topper in school and a karate senior Brown Belt.
He is very passionate about trekking and has participated in four treks in the Himalayas. He wishes to complete his B.Com (Hons) Economics from a top College. He aspires to pursue his Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) from Harvard University. Thereafter he plans to become an entrepreneur and has started working on business plans.
